Another story board..

when we realised that we needed to change our prelim, we started a rough copy of another storyboard. Today we have been building
on our story board and thinking about all the shots we are going to use. Now from this we can see the changes clearly and draw in what we were changing.

Discussing new research

Today we discussed our prelim again thinking and talking about the new research we had done. We then decided that there are still lots of things that we can improve and we should change. By using our research we thought that we can film it differently to how we had it originally . We are thinking of flicking backwards and forwards between the guy who is buying the cigarettes and the main character (the guy that gets poisoned). We thought this way it will make it clearer to the audience who they should be following. At first we were just focusing on the pass over of the cigarettes, as it is the poison being carried on and smuggled around. Normally in prelims the camera will follow the main character and that is where we need to make sure the audience don’t get confused.

Complicated props we are going to use

We are going to have a Range Rover in our opening
Credits, as well as a motorbike. This shows the wealth of our characters, and its helps build the characters and bring the audience into the piece.
We are going to use a motorbike for the ‘unknown’ man who is driving the bike through the high streets and around the back of the restaurant. This makes the piece slick and exciting. We are going to use one of the girls in our groups range rover and one of our media teachers has a bike and he is happy to ride it in our piece for us.
